Laydown Forms

| WTF manufactures
forms with tie slots for laydown applications. This
eliminates the need for special laydown ties or hardware.
Often times contractor find the need to lay their forms
down to pour 3 ft. tall walls. This application can
be achieve two different ways, laydown forms, laydown
ties or hardware. |

The
WTF 36 x 48 Laydown Panel allows a contractor to lay
the form either direction. This form is not designed
to be put on the bottom of stacked forms.

For
customers who do not own laydown forms, the following
ties and hardware are designed to accomplish laydown
applications with standard forms
Flathead Pin
|
|
The
flathead pin is used when pinning through a single rail
or when placing concrete against an existing wall. Also
used in laydown applications, such as 36" x 96"
panel, to pour a 36" tall concrete wall.

Flat
Steel U-Tie
|
|
For
laydown applications ONLY! Not to be used in close trench
conditions where stripping requires pulling top of form
down
toward ground. No pins or wedges required.
Maximum wall height: 36"
Maximum tie spacing: 24"

Wire
Base Tie
|
|  Wire
base ties are used in laydown form applications. Drive
wedges through raised loops to secure base tie through
rail.

Tie Pin (Silver Bullet) |
|  For
laydown applications ONLY! Base tie pins hold tie in
place at the base of the form.
